Finzer Roller Named a Preferred Platinum Supplier by the PAGE Cooperative

CHICAGO, May 12, 2011 – Finzer Roller today announced that it has been named a Platinum Supplier by the PAGE Cooperative, a not-for-profit, member-owned cooperative buying association. Members purchase over $200 million annually through the Cooperative.

“Finzer Roller has long been a supporter of PAGE and its members,” stated Randy Apperson, Director of Sales for Finzer Roller, "and we are proud to be selected as a Platinum Supplier."

To attain the rank of Platinum status, Preferred Suppliers must have an average score of 4.0 or greater on a survey rated by PAGE members. A second requisite is that Preferred Supplier status be held for at least two years in good standing. In addition, they must pass a review by the Supplier Evaluation Committee, have sales within the Cooperative that are either steady or increasing, and pass yet another review by PAGE staffers.

Finzer Roller provides precision ground rubber and polyurethane rollers, with a full line of specialty roller products and coatings. Its advanced capabilities include In-house Machine Shops for New Cores and Repairs, Computerized Grinding and Grooving, Dynamic Balancing, Customized Elastomeric Compounding, and a proprietary Roll Tracking System.

Founded in 1968, Finzer Roller is a one-stop resource for rubber rollers and specialty coatings, including steel roller cores, replacement rubber coverings and peripheral products.
